Oliver Queen: Felicity, hold onto me tight
Felicity Smoak: I imagined you saying that under different circumstances,
Felicity Smoak: Very platonic circumstances.

Laurel Lance: What are you trying to say?
Oliver Queen: That you know me better than anyone, and that you are more important to me than anyone. I just hope I didn't wait too long to say it.
Laurel Lance: You didn't wait too long.

Oliver Queen: I didn't know, Felicity. Five years ago, I was a completely different person. And I had... no idea that something like this was even... possible. I couldn't have imagined. When you and Diggle brought me back to Starling City, I made a vow to myself that I would never let anything like the undertaking happen again.
Felicity Smoak: What's happening now is not your fault.
Oliver Queen: Yes, it is. I have failed this city. Yao Fei. Shado. Tommy. My father, my mother. All that I ever wanted to do is honor those people.
Felicity Smoak: You honor the dead by fighting. And you're not done fighting! Malcolm Merlyn, The Count, The Clock King, the Triad - everyone who is trying to hurt this city, you stopped them. And you will stop Slade.
Oliver Queen: I don't know how.
Felicity Smoak: Neither do I. But I do know two things: You are not alone. And I believe in you.

Thea Queen: You smell like smoke. Korean barbecue?
Oliver Queen: C4. Yeah.
Thea Queen: It's nice that we can tell each other this stuff now.
Oliver Queen: It is, actually.
Thea Queen: You always had the lamest excuses.
Oliver Queen: Lame excuses are sort of an occupational hazard.
Thea Queen: What was tonight's hazard?
Oliver Queen: Roy and I were looking for the man that escaped from the courthouse earlier today. Found a bomb instead.
Thea Queen: Yeah, I don't know how you do it. Just risk your life out there for people every night.
Oliver Queen: It's my job. It is my job to keep the people of this city safe. And that includes you, too, Speedy. Listen to me. I'm always going to hate Malcolm Merlyn. But right now he's a necessary evil.
Thea Queen: But we can take care of ourselves.
Oliver Queen: Not against Ra's al Ghul. You have to trust me on this.
Thea Queen: I do. But I don't trust him. I can't. And I won't.

Slade Wilson: She's lost, your sister.
Oliver Queen: No, she's not.
Slade Wilson: You can see it in her eyes. She's being touched by darkness. Was it Merlyn? He's an interesting man to do that to his own daughter. So now you've lost your father, your mother, and now your little sister. How's the girl with glasses? What's her name? Felicity. How many people can Oliver Queen lose before there is no more Oliver Queen?

Thea Queen: A bunch of superheroes in a farmhouse? I feel like I've seen that in a movie before.
Oliver Queen: We need a secure location.
Caitlin Snow: What's wrong with S.T.A.R. Labs?
Oliver Queen: Well, I mean, absolutely nothing if you forget about the revolving doors you installed so the bad guys to come and go as they please.
Caitlin Snow: Remind me again what happened to your old lair, or the one before that.
Felicity Smoak: Well, lair number one was compromised by the police, and...
Felicity Smoak: I will stop helping.

Oliver Queen: Felicity, before I met you, I had a plan. I had a way that I was gonna be. But then, you walked into my life, or I--I showed up at your cubicle, and you changed everything. I was in darkness, but with your kindness, your generosity, your compassion, your intelligence, your wit, and your trust, you brought me into the light... And you let me know that I deserved it. You were that light, and I don't know if I still deserve that trust, if I deserve you... I probably don't, but whatever has happened, whatever will happen, the way that you make me feel is the best part of my life. You can ask me to say that I don't love you, and I will never lie to you again. You are mine always, and I just want the chance to be yours.
Felicity Smoak: Oliver...

John Diggle: Oliver? What is it, man?
John Diggle: Is it Susan?
Oliver Queen: Not yet, but it's just a matter of time... And I don't know what I can do to stop it.
John Diggle: Oliver, there are always options, and you're not alone.
Oliver Queen: You trunk that's the problem? You've done a wonderful job of convincing me that I"m changing for the better, with recruits and transparency, more optimism, more... More trust.
John Diggle: You think none of this would've happened if you hadn't trusted Chase, right?
Oliver Queen: Trusted anyone, because I can't see anything past me just breaking more targets.
John Diggle: Oliver...
John Diggle: We're not targets, man. We're your teammates... We're your strength.
Oliver Queen: You give me strength until Chase turns it into a weakness. Look what happened with Susan. I let myself get close to Susan, and in so doing, I gave Chase a way to get to me. That could happen with you, with... With Felicity. With my son. All of you make me vulnerable, John.
John Diggle: Maybe. Maybe we do, but caring about people, Oliver--that makes you human.
Oliver Queen: Being human is a luxury I might not get to have.

I want to be the person you always told me I could be.

Oliver Queen: I just wanted a second to myself.
John Diggle: I would believe you, Mr. Queen, if you weren't so full of crap.

Thea Queen: You did not come back from a deserted island with a souvenir.
Oliver Queen: It's a hozen. in Buddhism it means reconnecting. I kept it in hopes in one day, it would reconnect me with you.

Oliver Queen: Who let you in here?
Thea Queen: I believe it was somebody who said "Right this way, Miss Queen."

Oliver Queen: Hey, Sis.
Thea Queen: I Knew It. I Knew you were alive.
Thea Queen: I Missed you so Much.
Oliver Queen: You Were with Me the Whole time.

Laurel Lance: She was my sister. I couldn't be angry because she was dead. I couldn't grieve because I was angry. That's what happens when your sister dies while screwing your boyfriend. We buried an empty coffin. because her body was at the bottom of the ocean where you left her. it should have been you.
Oliver Queen: I know it is too late to say this but I am sorry.
Laurel Lance: Yeah, I am sorry, too. I had hoped you would rot in hell a lot longer than five years.

Oliver Queen: Laurel, you always saw the best in me. Right now, that's what you are doing, you are looking at me and you are wondering if that island changed me somehow, if it made me a better person. It didn't. Stay away from me, otherwise I am just gonna hurt you again, but this time it will be worse.
Laurel Lance: You know what, Oliver? You are wrong, that island did change you, at least now you are honest.

All that time plotting my return at the island, I didn't realize how hard it would be to reconnect with Mom, Thea... Laurel... and I didn't... I didn't know how painful it would be to keep my secret. You asked me to save the city. To right your wrongs. I will. I swear. But to do that, I can't be the Oliver that everyone wants me to be, which means sometimes, to honor your wishes... I need to dishonor your memory. I'm sorry...

Oliver Queen : I'd say thanks, but I really don't think that would cover it.
John Diggle : Well, like I told your cop friend, I was just doing my job. Besides, I think I'm the one who should be thanking you.
Oliver Queen : For what?
John Diggle : The knife.
Oliver Queen : The knife. I got lucky.
John Diggle : That was a kitchen knife. It wasn't even weighted properly, yet you threw it for accuracy across a ten-foot room.
Oliver Queen : Exactly. I got lucky.

Oliver Queen : I got lucky.
John Diggle : I'm not the man you wanna take for a fool, Mr. Queen. You understand me?
Oliver Queen : Yes.
John Diggle : I think I'm just beginning to understand what kind of man you are.
Oliver Queen : Shouldn't take you very long. I'm shallow.

John Diggle : Will you be going out tonight, sir?
Oliver Queen : Definitely.

Oliver Queen : Sorry to give you so much grief.
John Diggle : I served three tours in Afghanistan, Mr. Queen. You don't even come close to my definition of grief.

He's still going to face justice. It'll just be a different kind.

#32

John Diggle : So how was your evening, sir?
Oliver Queen : You mean after I said I had to go the bathroom at dinner and never came back?
John Diggle : I guess from now on I'll be watching you pee.

Oliver Queen : You don't think much of me, do you?
John Diggle : Actually, sir, I have a very high regard for how... perceptive you are.

John Diggle: You really did lose your mind on that island.
Oliver Queen: Found a couple of things along the way.
John Diggle: Like what Archery classes?
Oliver Queen: Clarity.

Do we have a legal meeting or something? 'Cause, I have friends over.

#36

Oliver Queen: What does that mean?
Yao Fei Gulong: You will die badly.

Oliver Queen: My father made mistakes. He hurt people. When people are hurt, people are in trouble, they tend to make the wrong choices. Right, Derek? But those choices don't have to define you. They don't have to define who your family will be. Because there's always one moment when you can turn it all around. If my father had another chance, I think he'd do things differently, but time ran out for him.
Derek Reston: How poetic. That doesn't help me get my house back, now does it?
Oliver Queen: No, it doesn't. No, all I can offer you is an apology and a job. Queen Consolidated has subsidiaries all over the country. I make one phone call, you start next week. So what do you say?
Derek Reston: How about "I still have some pride left"? Now, I don't need charity from the son of the man who screwed me over.
Oliver Queen: Okay.
Oliver Queen: You change your mind?
Oliver Queen: You and I have one thing in common. We're both dealing with the consequences of my father's actions. What he did then, that's on him. What we do now, that's on us.

Thea Queen: Mom says I'm supposed to remind you to pick her up for lunch.

Helena Bertinelli: I know it must have been hell for you. Alone on that island, for five years. But, um...
Oliver Queen: But, what?
Helena Bertinelli: But was there ever a day when you were just... happy to be away from everything? No pressure from your family, no need to be the person that everyone else expect you to be. Was there ever a day when...
Oliver Queen: When I didn't feel lost, I felt free? More than one. And those are the days that I miss.

Oliver Queen: [knocks thug back out] No.
John Diggle: What are you doing?
Oliver Queen: You need to arrange a new identity for this guy. Get him out of the city.
John Diggle: Right, so your Ruskie pal draws out The Count, vigilante takes him down.
Oliver Queen: No, Diggle. Because the Bratva would know that I used them, and that relationship is too valuable. I do the meet with The Count as myself, let him leave, then we follow him to his hideout.
John Diggle: Just that easy, huh?
Oliver Queen: Well, I will still need my trusty bodyguard.
John Diggle: Fantastic. Looking forward to my new exciting career as a drug dealer.

John Diggle: Find what you're looking for?
Oliver Queen: Took down three Vertigo pushers tonight, Diggle. Last one finally knew a name. The Count.
John Diggle: The Count? That's worse than The Hood.

John Diggle: You're not going back out there?
Oliver Queen: I'm not done for the night. Whoever this Count is, he has a lot of blood on his hands, and it is long past time he started paying.
John Diggle: All right, slow down. I think you're missing the point here.
Oliver Queen: What?
Oliver Queen: Thea.
John Diggle: Her hearing's in a few hours. You think she cares more about some drug lord getting his just desserts or you being by her side when she needs you the most?

John Diggle: I can't believe you just killed that guy.
Oliver Queen: You really have a low opinion of me.

Oliver Queen: I've listened to this fifteen times. It's definitely her voice, Diggle. I just... I can't believe it's her.
John Diggle: We all have blind spots when it comes to family.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. Laurel's almost got her killed tonight. Vanch never would've known about her connection to me if Lance hadn't lied to her.
John Diggle: Guess the lesson here is blind trust can be dangerous.

John Diggle: What's the undertaking?

#54

Oliver Queen: Who was Fyers talking to?
Slade Wilson: I don't know. Sounds like someone off this island, maybe his benefactor. More importantly, who or what is Scylla?
Oliver Queen: The Scylla and Charybdis. It's "The Odyssey" from one of the four nightmare chapters. Scylla was a monster.
Slade Wilson: I want to meet this monster.

#55

Slade Wilson: That's broken. It got busted during the crash.
Oliver Queen: Did you try to get it to work?
Slade Wilson: I'm better at pulling things apart.
Oliver Queen: My father was a pilot and he used to do his own maintenance.
Slade Wilson: So you're hoping that aircraft maintenance is genetic?
Oliver Queen: No, I used to help him and I liked it. Then I got pretty good at it. So maybe I can make the radio work.
Slade Wilson: You should be training for the inevitable fight that's looming.
Oliver Queen: I think I have a better chance of making the radio work.

#56

Oliver Queen: Just your father. Anyone else gets hurt and I'll put an arrow in you.

Quentin Lance: Oh, if wishing made it so.

#63

Felicity Smoak: I thought it would be helpful to track A.R.G.U.S' manhunt for Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot. So I decrypted their communication logs. Which means, I just hacked a federal agency. Kind of makes me a cyber-terrorist, which is bad because I really don't see myself fitting in well at Guantanamo Bay.
Oliver Queen: Don't worry, Felicity. They don't send blondes there.
Felicity Smoak: I dye it, actually.
Felicity Smoak: I keep your secret!

#64

Felicity Smoak: It feels really good having you inside me... And by you I mean your voice. And by me I mean my ear. I'm going to stop talking. Right now.

Oliver Queen: I've always known where you live. May I?

#75

Oliver Queen: I spoke to Malcolm.
Moira Queen: You what? He could have killed you. He killed your father.
Oliver Queen: No, he didn't. After the "Gambit" went down, Dad and I both made it to the life raft. Then we drifted, for days. In the end, there wasn't enough food and water for both of us. So he shot himself in the head.
Moira Queen: I don't want to hear this.
Oliver Queen: He sacrificed himself so that I could live. Do you really think that I could go on living knowing that you sacrificed thousands more in my name? Mom. Please. You have to help me stop Malcolm. We need to know where the device is.

#76

Tommy Merlyn: Did... Did you kill him?
Oliver Queen: No.
Tommy Merlyn: Thank you.
Oliver Queen: No... no. Tommy? It should've been me. Open your eyes Tommy!
Oliver Queen: Open your eyes.

#77

John Diggle: I thought Merlyn broke your bow.
Oliver Queen: I have another.

Oliver Queen: The city still needs saving. But not by the Hood. Or some vigilante who's just crossing names off a list. It needs something more.
John Diggle: It needs a hero, Oliver.
Felicity Smoak: It's too bad The Hoods kind of ruined your nickname.
Oliver Queen: No, it's good. I don't want to be called The Hood anymore.
John Diggle: Okay. So what do you want to be called?

#85

John Diggle: You know, Oliver, somebody once told me that secrets have weight. The more you keep, the harder it is to keep moving.
Arrow: You see how hard I work out.

Isabel Rochev: A blonde IT girl all of sudden gets promoted to be assistant to the CEO? There are only two ways how that happens. One is nepotism, and she doesn't look like your cousin.
Oliver Queen: That is absolutely not happening.
Isabel Rochev: What were her qualifications? Aside from an abundance of short skirts.
Oliver Queen: Her skirts aren't that short.

#87

Felicity Smoak: Why her? I mean, besides the obvious leggy model reason.
Oliver Queen: It just kind of happened. It didn't mean anything.
Oliver Queen: Hey. Because of the life that I lead, I just think that it's better to not be with someone that I could really care about.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I think... I think you deserve better than her.

#88

Felicity Smoak: What were you thinking?
Oliver Queen: What?
Felicity Smoak: Over 64 million woman over the consent in Russia and you sleep with her.
Oliver Queen: So we're not doing the "What happens in Russia stays in Russia?"
Felicity Smoak: We're still in Russia.

#91

Felicity Smoak: Mrs. Queen, welcome back to the company.
Moira Queen: Thank you.
Felicity Smoak: You look fabulous. Really, better than ever. Did you do something to your hair?

Felicity Smoak: Is it okay to laugh? Because I was ordered not say anything about you being in prison just to avoid any awkward exchanges.
Oliver Queen: Like that one.

#92

Barry Allen: Uh, it takes about 1200 50-foot pounds of torque to break someone's neck. See the mark on the guard's neck? The bruising patterns suggests the killer used only one hand. I'm guessing you don't know how hard it is to break someone's neck.
Oliver Queen: Hmm? No. No idea.

#93

Arrow: Who are you?

#94

Oliver Queen: Tommy?
Tommy Merlyn: You're not gonna die down here.
Oliver Queen: Tommy, I'm sorry. I let you die.
Tommy Merlyn: You didn't let me die, Ollie. You fought to save me, because that's what you do, what you have always done. You fight to survive. I know I called you a murderer, but you are not. You are a hero. You beat the island. You beat my father. So fight, Oliver. Get up and fight back.

#95

Oliver Queen: Barry. The rat poison that you gave me... are there any side effects?
Barry Allen: Uh, yeah, I think hallucinations, maybe. And excessive sweating. Are you sweating excessively?
Felicity Smoak: You're hallucinating? What do you see?
Oliver Queen: A girl named Shado that was with me on the island.
Felicity Smoak: Shado. Sara. How many women were you marooned with? Sure this wasn't Fantasy Island?
Barry Allen: You did train in a jungle or forest environment, hence the green.

#96

John Diggle: If you get bored, I keep a book of crossword puzzles in the glove box.
Oliver Queen: That's not funny.

John Diggle: "Solomon Grundy, born on a Monday..."
Oliver Queen: Christened on Tuesday. I know the poem. It symbolizes the seven stages of life - from birth to death.
John Diggle: What stage is this guy in?

Roy Harper: Is this the part where you kill me 'cause I know your secret?
Oliver Queen: Do you actually think that I'd kill my sister's boyfriend?
Roy Harper: Well, you did shoot me in the leg. Forgiven, by the way.
Oliver Queen: Thea. She can never know.
Roy Harper: I get the feeling that if I did tell her, that would be when you kill me.
Oliver Queen: Trust that instinct.

Roy Harper: Last year, you saved my life. And I don't mean from the guy who kidnapped me. I mean, you... You saved my life. You gave me purpose.
Oliver Queen: We're just getting started.

Laurel Lance: Can I get something with olives? I don't care what it is, as long there are a lot of olives.
Oliver Queen: How about coffee?
Laurel Lance: Coffee and olives? Bad combination.

Oliver Queen: For the past year, I have stood by your side... and I have fought, because I didn't to believe that you were this... monster. And I needed to believe that still had a mother.
Moira Queen: You do, Oliver. Oliver, I only lied about Thea to protect her from Malcolm.
Oliver Queen: No, you lied because that is what you do. And that is who you are, Mom. Lies. And now you have made a liar out of me. Because Thea can never find out about Merlyn. And she can never learn the truth about us. Which is that as of right now, we have no relationship. I will keep up appearance for Thea's sake. And publicly I will support your campaign. But privately... you and I are done.

#103

Sara Lance: Good, I can't take any more scars. Speaking of... mortar round?
John Diggle: Yeah, IED, the Paktika Province in Afghanistan. Good eye.
Sara Lance: I know my wounds. Grenade. Algiers.
Oliver Queen: I've never been hit by a grenade.
John Diggle: All those scars, you've never been hit by a grenade?
Oliver Queen: Arrow, knife, knife. A lot of bullets, no grenades.
Sara Lance: I've got myself a new bullet. Nine millimeter, right there... 38. I'm mostly swords and a spear.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I have a scar. It's in my mouth. I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was 16.

#104

Dr. Anthony Ivo: It's harder than it looks, isn't it? Killing an unarmed man.
Oliver Queen: It seemed pretty easy when you murdered Shado.
Dr. Anthony Ivo: I didn't murder her, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: Ivo, you shot her in the head.
Dr. Anthony Ivo: I gave you a choice! You chose Sara. You blame me, but that's because you can't face your own guilt. I loaded the bullets, yes, I pulled the trigger, but you... you aimed the gun. And you hold yourself responsible. Don't you?
Oliver Queen: Yes. But that doesn't mean I won't kill you.

#105

Oliver Queen: Cyrus Gold, the man in the skull mask, all this was you. They worked for you.
Slade Wilson: Well, I have my allies, just as you have yours. John Diggle, for example. I suppose you're wondering why he hasn't taken his head shot. Don't worry. He's still alive - for now.

Sara Lance: I thought you hated swimming.
Oliver Queen: I detest swimming. So does Thea. My mother sometimes enjoys a casual relationship with the truth.

#107

Sara Lance: I thought you hated swimming.
Oliver Queen: I detest swimming. So does Thea. My mother sometimes enjoys a casual relationship with the truth.

#108

Felicity Smoak: Oliver, where are you? Are you okay?
Oliver Queen: I'm with Lance as Oliver, and he just called the Arrow.
Felicity Smoak: Oh. Oh! It's getting really hard to keep track of who knows whose secret identity.

Oliver Queen: Slade... You're working for him.
Isabel Rochev: With. He knew planting me in your family's business would draw you back to Starling City. Truth be told, I was skeptical, but...
Oliver Queen: Why are you doing this?
Isabel Rochev: I think it's sad that you don't know. The sins of the father are the sins of the son.

#110

Oliver Queen: With Slade out there, I don't have time for the company.
Felicity Smoak: Well, you have to make time, Oliver. At least three hours. The annual board meeting. There's absolutely zero way that the CEO can avoid being there. And I know it's been a while, so in you case you've forgotten, that's you. Do you remember where you put your business suit? Or do you keep it in a cool glass case, too?

#111

Sara Lance: Don't be nervous.
Felicity Smoak: I'm a lot nervous. This is a big move, even for us, and we've cornered the market on big moves.
Oliver Queen: Slade didn't give us any choice.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, but as far as plans go, this is not a good one.
Oliver Queen: Felicity, this was your plan.
Felicity Smoak: I didn't think you'd actually say yes.

#112

Laurel Lance: You're really cute when you're mopey.
Oliver Queen: I'm not mopey.
Laurel Lance: Mopey's your default, Ollie. It's part of your smoldering charm.
Oliver Queen: I do have smoldering charm.

#113

Doctor Lockhart: Some of this damage is chronic. The cost of jumping off rooftops, I guess.
Arrow: I need to get back on my feet.
Doctor Lockhart: I can give you a brace, but you'll still be in horrendous amounts of pain. Six months ago, this cabinet would have been empty. The Chinese Triad was stopping all our med shipments - until someone stopped them. Ever since, I've been looking for a way to thank you.

#114

Laurel Lance: You're really cute when you're mopey.
Oliver Queen: I'm not mopey.
Laurel Lance: Mopey's your default, Ollie. It's part of your smoldering charm.
Oliver Queen: I do have smoldering charm.

Doctor Lockhart: I can give you a brace, but you'll still be in horrendous amounts of pain. Six months ago, this cabinet would have been empty. The Chinese Triad was stopping all our med shipments - until someone stopped them. Ever since, I've been looking for a way to thank you.

#116

Oliver Queen: You're the mayor. Congratulations. You've always wanted that.
Sebastian Blood: Believe me, Oliver, I wish it had happened a different way. Your mother and I, we - we didn't agree on much. But we both wanted what was best for Starling City. I will help this city find its heart again, I promise you that.
Oliver Queen: Do you really think that he will let that happen? Slade Wilson.
Sebastian Blood: How do you know I've been working with Slade Wilson?
Oliver Queen: Because I'm the Arrow.

#117

Oliver Queen: Submarines have torpedoes, right? Can't we blast our way out?
Anatoly Knyazev: I can see why you two are made for each other. You like your explosions.

#118

Laurel Lance: You thought about telling me... the night of the undertaking.
Oliver Queen: I thought about telling you almost every night.
Laurel Lance: Why didn't you? Tommy knew. Didn't he? You were with him. You were with him at the end.
Oliver Queen: His last words were about you. He wanted to know if you were safe. Sorry I couldn't save him. And my mother. But I can save you. And Thea. I can save the city if this ends tonight.
Laurel Lance: No. No! You can't commit suicide, Ollie. You won't do that to me. Or to Sara, or to your friends. Or to Thea. Oliver... She just lost her mother. Losing you would destroy her.
Oliver Queen: But she'll be alive.
Laurel Lance: I don't know about hoods and masks or human weapons or any of this. But I know you. I know you like I know my own name. And I realize it may sound crazy in light of your secret, but I know who you are in your bones, Oliver. And that person - that person doesn't give up. That person, he always finds a way.
Oliver Queen: Not this time.
Laurel Lance: You're wrong. You want to protect the people who you love? Then the only way to do that is to stop Slade Wilson.
Oliver Queen: Laurel, I can't!
Laurel Lance: Yes, you can! By stopping Sebastian Blood, because Sebastian is working for Slade Wilson.
Laurel Lance: I have proof. Slade Wilson killed your mother so Sebastian could become mayor.
Oliver Queen: You were right about him. The man in the skull mask works for for Slade Wilson. And this entire time, it was Sebastian.
Laurel Lance: What's happening is bigger than you and Slade. The city needs the Arrow.

Oliver Queen: Hey. I need you to stay with Roy.
Felicity Smoak: Okay. Oliver, John - um, maybe this is obvious, but are we sure this isn't a trap?
Oliver Queen: No.
Felicity Smoak: I'm just saying, if you guys don't come back alive, I'm going to be really pissed.

Felicity Smoak: Talk about unthinkable. You and me I mean. When you told me you loved me, you had me fooled for a second. I... Maybe you might have meant it, what you said. You really sold it.
Oliver Queen: We both did.

Felicity Smoak: Oliver, You're not making any sense.
Oliver Queen: Slade took Laurel because he wants to kill the woman I love.
Felicity Smoak: I know. So?
Oliver Queen: So he took the wrong woman.
Felicity Smoak: Oh.
Oliver Queen: I love you... Do you understand?
Felicity Smoak: Yes.

Oliver Queen: So you like Italian?
Felicity Smoak: What?
Oliver Queen: For tonight. You like Italian, right? Everyone likes Italian.
Felicity Smoak: Oliver, you're in the middle of a high speed chase.
Oliver Queen: I'm multitasking.

Oliver Queen: We need to talk.
Felicity Smoak: I don't want to talk. Which, for me, I know is a little unprecedented. But... as soon as we talk, it's over.
Oliver Queen: I'm so sorry. I thought that I could be me and The Arrow. But I can't. Not now. Maybe not ever.
Felicity Smoak: Then say never. Stop... dangling maybes. Say it's never going to work out between us. Say you never loved me. Say...
Oliver Queen: Felicity. he kisses her Don't ask me to say that I don't love you.
Felicity Smoak: told you as soon as we talked... it would be over.

Arrow: What is it, detective?
Quentin Lance: You okay? You look like someone peed in your cornflakes.

#125

never said I didn't know HOW to use a gun.

#126

John Diggle: Listen, I understand why you can't kill Merlyn, all of the reasons. Maybe he killed Sara, maybe he didn't.
Oliver Queen: He didn't.
John Diggle: Either way! The world is a better place without Malcolm Merlyn it. You made a vow not to kill. Nyssa didn't.

Oliver Queen: The tracer arrow program...
John Diggle: You have Felicity monitoring remote from Central City?
Oliver Queen: No, she told me an idiot can run it.
John Diggle: I will try very heard not to take that personally.

Thea Queen: I was afraid you wouldn't react well to the idea of me taking his money.
Oliver Queen: It's blood money, Thea! You don't know what Malcolm Merlyn is capable of!
Thea Queen: I know what his money is capable of - renting me this really sweet loft.
Oliver Queen: Listen to me. He's alive, and if you take his money, he has a hold on you.
Thea Queen: I think you're being a little melodramatic. I'm his daughter, okay? He's not gonna put me in danger.
Oliver Queen: He's responsible for the death of 503 innocent people, including your brother.
Thea Queen: Now that is a card you do not get to play.

Ted Grant: This is were I kept my supplies. A safe place separate from my day job. I'm sure you've got one just like it.
Arrow: Mine's bigger.

#130

Isaac Stanzler: Don't you get it! He's using you! You're not a human being, man. You were just another weapon in his arsenal. And the second you do something wrong, he'll turn his back on you. He'll abandon you!
Arsenal: I'm not you. Don't abandon me.
Arrow: Never.

#131

Maseo Yamashiro: Do you know steganography?
Oliver Queen: Is that the dinosaur with the plates on its back?

#132

Dr. Avery Pressnall: If you'll permit a professional observation... you could use a little therapy yourself.
Arrow: What gives you that impression?
Dr. Avery Pressnall: You mean, apart from the mask and the Robin Hood costume?

#133

Oliver Queen: I appreciate your help back at A.R.G.U.S., but we have this handled.
Barry Allen: Wait, you don't wanna team up again?
Oliver Queen: Things work differently here. Starling City is meaner.
Barry Allen: I seem to remember helping you pretty good last year, and that was without powers. I've been practicing everything you taught me. I-I-I'm facing new environments, I'm not running in blind...
Oliver Queen: We do this my way.
Barry Allen: Yes! This is gonna be awesome. Okay, what's our first move?
Oliver Queen: We need to reassemble the evidence. It will take some time...
Oliver Queen: ... but it'll be worth it.

#134

The only thing that hurts worse than an arrow going in is an arrow coming out!

#135

Felicity Smoak: But there is one thing I need to ask you to do. And you're not going to want to.
Oliver Queen: Well, if it's you asking, I'll do it.
Felicity Smoak: Kill him. You have to kill Ra's al Ghul. This is a duel... Oliver, with one of the most dangerous men that has ever walked the Earth.
Oliver Queen: I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't think I can win.
Felicity Smoak: I don't doubt that. I don't doubt that you can beat him. I am terrified that you won't kill him. Because that's not who you are anymore. And I am so afraid that Ra's al Ghul will use your humanity against you.
Oliver Queen: Felicity, I honestly don't know if I'm a killer anymore. But I do know two things - the first is that whoever I am, I am someone who will do whatever - *whatever* - it takes to save my sister.
Felicity Smoak: And the second thing?
Oliver Queen: I love you.

Oliver Queen: Felicity...
Felicity Smoak: I need some air really means I don't want to talk right now...
Oliver Queen: I'm sorry...
Felicity Smoak: For what? Maybe you could be a little more specific: Letting us think you were dead? For weeks? Or by abandoning every principle you claimed to have by getting into bed with Malcom Merlyn?
Oliver Queen: That's not what has you upset.
Felicity Smoak: When you were gone... for almost a month... I allowed myself to fantasize. To dream that maybe, just maybe... Merlyn was wrong. That you were alive. That you'd come back.
Felicity Smoak: And that when you did, maybe you'd be different. That almost dying would give you a new perspective on life. That you would do things differently...
Oliver Queen: Things between us, you mean.
Felicity Smoak: Before you left, the last thing you said was that you loved me.
Felicity Smoak: Now you're back... And the first thing you tell me is that you're working with the man who turned your sister... who you're supposed to love... into a killer, who killed a woman you used to love.
Felicity Smoak: I don't want to be a woman you love.

Laurel Lance: I know what you're going to say, but I risked myself for this city while you were gone. That should earn me some respect.
Oliver Queen: This isn't about respect. And it's not about you risking your life. I understand that you miss Sara. And I understand when you go out there like this, all of that pain goes away.
Laurel Lance: It's the only time it ever does.
Oliver Queen: And that relief isn't real. It's a drug.
Laurel Lance: If you're implying...
Oliver Queen: You an addict. And just like booze and pills, that high you're chasing every night is endangering your life.
Laurel Lance: Go to hell, Oliver. You don't get to play that card with me. Ever. And if there is anyone who is using adrenaline to hide the pain of real feelings and real life, it's you.

Slade Wilson: Come on, then. You've earned it.
Oliver Queen: Thea, don't!
Thea Queen: He killed Mom!
Oliver Queen: And he will continue to pay for his crimes, but not like this! You're a not a killer!
Thea Queen: Yeah, tell that to Sara!
Oliver Queen: What happened to Sara is not on you! What happens to him is! All this is what Malcolm wanted. He freed Slade to prove we're killers because he wants you to be just like him. You got to prove to him that you're not.

Ra's al Ghul: You tasted death, and you wanted more, but the truth is everyone, and everything must come to an end. Even for one such as me.
Oliver Queen: Kill me, but spare John Diggle's life. Let him go. I will beg for it.
Ra's al Ghul: You have shown tremendous strength, fortitude, power. No, Mr. Queen, I do not want to kill you. I want you take my place. I want you to become the next Ra's al Ghul.

Oliver Queen: Hey! I told you Merlyn was off limits.
Laurel Lance: I know. And then I realized that I didn't really give a damn.
Oliver Queen: This is why I keep secrets from you. Because you let your emotions dictate your emotions and it is going to get you killed. Did you really think you had a chance against Malcolm Merlyn?

John Diggle: You want to tell me what's going on now?
Oliver Queen: Ra's predicted this. He said the city would turn against me and I would die alone. And when we come back, and the first thing that happens is Lance shutting me out, and... I see Felicity with Palmer. It's like he looked into my future.
John Diggle: Sounds to me Ra's is playing with your head. Question is, why are you letting him?
Oliver Queen: He wants me to take his place in the League of Assassins. That's why he let us go. As a sign of good faith.
John Diggle: Is there even a world where he can imagine you saying yes?
Oliver Queen: He said I can do more as the new Ra's than I can ever do as Oliver Queen or the Arrow. That I would have unlimited resources. That I could make a difference, not just a dent.
John Diggle: You're not really considering this. Just because Captain Lance is angry and Felicity is momentarily unavailable.
Oliver Queen: It's more than that. I just... John, tell my honestly... What have we accomplished?
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: All the people that we put away, John, they got out. The city is no better off. The Arrow is not... is not making a difference. And if I just can't be me... and the Arrow isn't enough...
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul.

Arrow: Look out!
Arrow: You still need training.
Black Canary: When are you going to stop telling me what to do?
Arrow: When you no longer need training.

Arrow: Look out!
Arrow: You still need training.
Black Canary: When are you going to stop telling me what to do?
Arrow: When you no longer need training.

Ra's al Ghul: Ra's is a title greater than one man. Wing Ta Leo Wo Chey.
Oliver Queen: Am I supposed to understand what that means?
Ra's al Ghul: No. It is from a dialect no longer spoken. Said to me by a man whose place I took. Contemplating the same offer. And what it means is, a tale to be told begins thus.

Oliver Queen: Is all of this suppose to impress me?
Ra's al Ghul: No. It's to inform you. Surely men have branded you a murderer, a torturer. But see, I would never shame you with such bluntness. Because I see it in your eyes. The struggle you have with your dual identity. Oliver Queen and the Arrow. Neither are giving you what you crave.
Oliver Queen: But becoming Ra's al Ghul will?
Ra's al Ghul: Oliver Queen is a man destined to be alone. He loves a woman who knows he cannot have.
Oliver Queen: You don't know me.
Ra's al Ghul: But I know the Arrow. "Al Sahhim." You will never be anything more than a vigilante for those whose lives he saves at the risk of your own. And the city will turn on you, and your closets allies within the police department will call you a criminal. You will be scorned and hunted, and then killed. Dying as you began your crusade... alone.

I told you I couldn't be with you and save the city. Neither can Ray. He's just too new at this to know it.

#148

The only move that Ra's has left me is telling the truth. You have no idea how powerful the truth can be.

#149

Felicity Smoak: So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how mad at us are you?
Oliver Queen: I need to learn to let people help me.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, you could use some practice in that. I just think sometimes, you are so focused on people you love, you forget to see that there are people who love you.

I am Al Sah-Him Warith Al Ghul, heir to the Demon, and you will obey!

#151

My name was Oliver Queen. I worked three years to save my city. But to save my sister, I had to become someone else. I had to become something else.

#152

My name was Oliver Queen I worked three years to save my city. But to save my sister, I had to become someone else. I had to become something else

#153

Oliver Queen is dead, and the Arrow is gone.

#154

Can I say something strange? I'm happy.

#155

My name is Oliver Queen. After five years in hell, I've returned home for only one goal - to save my city. And I did. I became a hero who helped people. But now it's time to be someone else. It's time for me to be something else.

#156

The man who survives the sword of Ra's al Ghul shall become Ra's al Ghul.

#157

Felicity Smoak... you have failed this omelet.

#158

Laurel Lance: We need the Arrow.
Oliver Queen: The Arrow's dead.
Laurel Lance: We're hoping that's not the case. We're hoping that you can't change who you are in your bones.

Felicity Smoak: I want a code name.
Oliver Queen: What?
Felicity Smoak: Everyone's got a code name; you even got a new one. I want a code name.
Oliver Queen: Find the bomb, and then we'll talk.

Oliver Queen: Both Lance and Jessica Danforth said something to me about this city needing something that the Green Arrow can't offer them.
Felicity Smoak: A decent sushi restaurant?
Oliver Queen: Hope. Inspiration. Someone who can do things in the light who isn't afraid. Someone who can protect himself. Felicity, I'm gonna run for Mayor.

John Diggle: You took a bullet for me.
Oliver Queen: They were meta-human tattoo playing cards.
John Diggle: Still counts, Oliver. Still counts.

John Diggle: You crossed the line, man.
Oliver Queen: I get it. I understand that I crossed a line. I understand that I lost your trust. What I do not understand is why you won't give me a chance to earn it back.

You know a funny thing. You're a main reason behind me running for Mayor. A part of me has always wanted you to see what kind of man I really am! I didn't expect to wind up finding out what kind of man you really are.

#164

United--that's what this city used to be. It's what it can be, it's what it must be, again. Now I know that I'm not the obvious choice for mayor, I'm not a politician. I signed away my family's company. I didn't even graduate from college, although in my defense, I did go to four of them. I certainly don't have a traditional background for leadership, but I can tell you this: After five years in hell, I returned home with only one goal--I wanted to save my city, and with your help, I can. With your help, we will restore our home to the shining beacon we know it can be. Now how we're gonna get there isn't a mystery. We will overcome our challenges with help from our friends, our family, our loved ones... Those we trust, and those we will need to trust again in order to prevail, because the only way that we are gonna return our home to greatness is to do so together... United.

#165

Oliver Queen: Laurel, do you trust me?
Oliver Queen: Trust me when I tell you this will work.

#166

Oliver Queen: Laurel, you were right... I haven't always been the best friend for you but... I'd be grateful for the opportunity to try to start to be.
Laurel Lance: How can I say no to the man who helped me save my sister's soul?

Oliver Queen: Why didn't you come to me with this?
Laurel Lance: Come to you for what? Your expertise with magical resurrection? Or that judgmental look on your face?
Oliver Queen: For help finding your sister, Laurel, before she gets hurt, or she hurts anyone else. And If I have a judgmental look on my face right now, it's because you played with forces that you do not understand, and now people are dying because of it.

Oliver Queen: Curtis. What're you doing?
Curtis Holt: The Green Arrow showed up right about the time that you came back into town...
Curtis Holt: Nah, it's not you though. Jaw's not right.

#169

Oliver Queen: This isn't just a base of operations. It looks like a staging area.
Felicity Smoak: For what?
Oliver Queen: Equipment. Military crates marked G6:5. Does that mean anything?
Felicity Smoak: Maybe they're playing bingo.
Oliver Queen: Let's assume that's not it.
Felicity Smoak: Deadly bingo.

Green Arrow: It's nice of you to show up.
John Diggle: My brother needed me. The green one.

Oliver Queen: While they work to get the staff away from Savage, we need to know everything there is to know about him.
Thea Queen: Well, I googled reincarnated nut jobs and came up with nothing.
Carter Hall: Kendra and I would be the "reincarnated nut jobs"; Savage is merely immortal.
Laurel Lance: Really?
Thea Queen: Welcome to the new normal...

We're gonna get Andy out from under Darhk's influence, John. That is a promise.

#174

Quentin Lance: So you're back to dropping bodies?
Oliver Queen: It's just this one.

#175

Oliver Queen: I don't have time for a lecture, John.
John Diggle: There's no lecture here, Oliver, but you should know that Andy gave me a lead on Darhk and I've been working on it.
Oliver Queen: Good. What have you found?
John Diggle: Unfortunately, it was a dead end, but you should know...
John Diggle: But nothing. But nothing.
John Diggle: Oliver, I know you're hurting, man, but you should know that whatever your play is... I got you back.
Oliver Queen: But?
John Diggle: But you've come so far, Oliver. You've recovered a humanity that you lost when I first met you. I know you want payback for what Darhk did to Felicity, and you should. But don't lose what made her fall in love with you in the first place.

The doctor said your condition is permanent, and I don't think that it's healthy or productive for either of us to... live in denial, but I have seen people speed and shrink and fly. We watched a friend of ours come back from the dead. That is the world we live in now. And I will not stop searching it until we find a way to make you walk again.

#177

One more thing from me. The doctor said your condition is permanent, and I don't think it's healthy or productive for either of us to live in denial, but I have seen people speed and shrink and fly. We watched a friend of ours come back from the dead--that is the world we live in now, and I will not stop searching it until we find a way to make you walk again.

#178

Oliver Queen: So a web nuke needs to be deployed somewhere. We need to know where the Calculator wants to install it.
Felicity Smoak: I am not calling him that on principle, because it is a lame codename.

Oliver Queen: What's crazy is Roy stealing from tech companies. What did he take this time?
Felicity Smoak: A triode capacitor bomb. Tiny device, really huge boom.

Oliver Queen: I should have done a better job of keeping an eye on her. She told me the bloodlust came back two months ago and I didn't even know
Oliver Queen: . I've been focused on the campaign and I've been running back and forth to Central City and...
Felicity Smoak: How is it that you always manage to blame yourself for everything?
John Diggle: That's his super power. Guilt Arrow.

Malcolm Merlyn: I thought of you a son once, Oliver. I had more common with you than my own blood, but that's not the reason why I'm going to kill you. Neither the fact that you are my daughter's brother. The reason you get to live is because death would be a mercy compared to the debt I now owe you.
Oliver Queen: Don't you dare threaten me, Malcolm.

Malcolm Merlyn: I'm a little disappointed I must say.
Oliver Queen: You're the one who put us in this position, Malcolm.
Malcolm Merlyn: Can I remind you the role you played in putting this ring on my finger?
Oliver Queen: Oh, I remember. Tonight I correct that mistake.
Malcolm Merlyn: I can't believe it. You've grown even more foolish with experience.
Oliver Queen: 3 years! Let's finish this.

Laurel Lance: I got a look at the laptop before it got shot up, and there were blueprints on the screen.
Oliver Queen: So they are gonna take down another building. Felicity?
Felicity Smoak: I know. The first time we met, the first thing you asked me to do was pull data off a damaged laptop. It's kind of romantic.

Oliver Queen: Did Alex call with the new poll numbers?
Felicity Smoak: Well, Bethany Snow's right. He doesn't have to. Experts are saying that you already won.
Oliver Queen: Experts aren't the voters.
Felicity Smoak: Okay. Well, you at least have one voter in your camp.
Felicity Smoak: Me!
Oliver Queen: Only one that matters.

Mari and I had an animated encounter last year, and we've stayed in touch ever since.

#186

Curtis Holt: These bees, they're tiny computers, okay? With Felicity trapped inside, you guys are gonna need someone to hack them. But I'll have to "bee" careful.
Curtis Holt: It's too soon for bee puns, right?
Oliver Queen: Let's assume that it is.

Laurel Lance: I'm really glad that you found Felicity, and I hope you find your way back to her. And Ollie, I know that I am not the love of your life, but you will always be the love of mine.
Oliver Queen: Why are you telling me this? Why now?
Laurel Lance: Because tonight it was just a reminder that anything can happen, which is why I need you to promise me something.

Oliver Queen: John, you are the one who always tells me do not have a blind spot when it comes to your family.
John Diggle: And you're the one who told me to give Andy a second chance. You're the one who wanted to extract him from HIVE. You're the one who said he could come back from the darkness the same way you did.
Oliver Queen: But I didn't. I've tried. I've tried harder at this than I ever have at anything, but at the end of the day, I am who those 5 years turned me into, I'm what they turned me into.
John Diggle: So what, Oliver, just because Felicity left you, I'm supposed to believe that all men are incapable of redemption? Not all men are like you, Oliver. Some of us change, some of us grow, some of us evolve. You are stuck, man, stuck in your self-pity and your self-righteousness, and that is why Felicity left you. My brother is my business. You have no idea what he's been through, and you sure as hell had no right right to judge him.

Do you know why I always blame myself in situations like this? Because at least it's an answer. Sometimes, we just need a reason when a situation is completely unreasonable.

#191

I know you're wearing that mask for a reasons, but right now, I want you to ask yourself... What would the Black Canary want you to do?

#192

This uh, this doesn't seem right. I knew Laurel Lance for almost her entire life. She was my friend, and I loved her. Before she died, I was lucky enough to hear her tell me that she loved me too. Laurel Lance became a lawyer to help people who may have appeared helpless. She wanted to give a voice to the silent, but just being a lawyer wasn't enough... She wanted to do more for those people and for this city because she loved this city so much. By now, everyone knows that Laurel was killed in the Iron Heights prison riot, and while it's true that she was an Assistant District Attorney, that's not what she was doing there that night. Before she died, Laurel told me the truth. Laurel Lance was the Black Canary, and for the past few days, I have had to sit and listen to people try and paint the Black Canary as a criminal. She was not a criminal; she was a hero. She was a hero in every way that a person can be, and if Laurel were here, I know that she would expect all of us to live up to the example that she set. She'd want us to save our city.

#193

Felicity Smoak: When you said that you'd found someone to teach you magic, I was thinking, like, a mountaintop or a hidden temple, not Hub City's premier underground casino.
Oliver Queen: Well, with Constantine I have learned to expect the unexpected.
Oliver Queen: I'm betting on Fortuna.
Oliver Queen: Now, he was a little bit vague with the specifics. He just said
Oliver Queen: "Pitch game, first game, mate. See if you're worthy."

Oliver Queen: I'm not gonna pretend to understand what you're going through.
John Diggle: Well, Oliver, you've been through this with your mother, which is why I can't quite understand why you're putting the fate of the world in the hands of another evil parent.
Oliver Queen: I'm not trusting Kuttler. I trust Felicity. And we should just let her do her job, okay?

Oliver Queen: I'm not gonna pretend to understand what you're going through.
John Diggle: Well, Oliver, you've been through this with your mother, which is why I can't quite understand why you're putting the fate of the world in the hands of another evil parent.
Oliver Queen: I'm not trusting Kuttler. I trust Felicity. And we should just let her do her job, okay?

Green Arrow: I should have taken your head.
Malcolm Merlyn: That's always been your problem... inability to do what is necessary.
Green Arrow: Laurel is dead because of you.
Malcolm Merlyn: What are you going to do? We've already established you're not going to kill me.

Oliver Queen: You okay?
John Diggle: Not really. I told Lyla the truth about Andy.
Oliver Queen: What'd she say?
John Diggle: She's a soldier... She understood, but I don't, and I don't think I ever will.
Oliver Queen: What are you gonna do?
John Diggle: I'm gonna take some time, away from this team, away from the city. Figure out where I went off track, figure out how to get back on.
Oliver Queen: John, I have never done this without you. You're the one who keeps me in line.
John Diggle: Oliver, I don't know if you've been watching lately, but it's been the other way around, man.

Anatoly Knyazev: I just dislocated thumbs. Useful if getting tired to chair to become habit. This is going to hurt a little.
Oliver Queen: Son of a bitch!
Anatoly Knyazev: With a bit of practice, you can do yourself anytime.
Oliver Queen: Anatoly, can't you bring a knife next time?
Anatoly Knyazev: What is fun of that?

#199

Oliver Queen: I'm sorry that you had to hear that.
Felicity Smoak: Hazards of the job. You okay?
Oliver Queen: Seeing Thea in the suit... It made me feel like everything was gonna get back to normal.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I'm running out of different ways to tell you it's not.
Oliver Queen: Hey, look--being a vigilante is not just putting on a mask and thinking up a code name... These people are amateurs, Felicity. You really think that they're going to replace Dig or Thea or Laurel? They couldn't do that if I wanted them to, and I don't want them to.
Felicity Smoak: They're already out there, Oliver... Because of you, inspired by you.
Oliver Queen: After what happened with Laurel, how can you ask me to put more people in the crosshairs?
Felicity Smoak: I am not the one who is asking, or do you not remember the promise you made to Laurel before she died? Laurel was thinking about the future--you need to think about yours!
Oliver Queen: Right now, I need to think of ways to stop Tobias Church.
Felicity Smoak: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: ...Now you let me know when you find a way around the kill cordon

Felicity Smoak: The isotope that made the cloth radioactive is very specific. It came from one of the nukes that Darhk launched on Genesis Day. Specifically, a nuke manufactured by a company called "Atomic Defensive Systems."
Oliver Queen: They're likely a subsidiary of AmerTek.
Felicity Smoak: Aw, and people say he's just a pretty face.
Thea Queen: Mmm.
Felicity Smoak: Bottom line is the subsidiary's connection with Genesis Day has made AmerTek's stock prices go...

Evelyn Sharp: I've been meaning to ask. What kind of vigilante wears a hockey mask ?
Oliver Queen: I think it's cool.

#202

Evelyn Sharp: I've been meaning to ask. What kind of vigilante wears a hockey mask ?
Oliver Queen: I think it's cool.

#203

Oliver Queen: Hey John, what's new?
John Diggle: I'm not doing this... I told Lyla.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, you can yell at us later, but right now, we're on a bit of a clock.
John Diggle: Are you even hearing me right now? I don't want anything to do with this.
Oliver Queen: The MPs going to do a count in a few minutes. My guess is they're only expecting to find one person in here.
John Diggle: Really? So that's your plan--blackmail? Do what you say or you get caught in here too?
Oliver Queen: You're my brother, John. What happens to you happens to me.
John Diggle: Oliver... I killed my brother. I went to the Army to change, and I haven't changed.
Oliver Queen: I know, alright. And I know that you think this is your penance for that...
John Diggle: Oliver, its' not just that. I trusted Andy, even when you told me not to. I trusted him, and now Laurel's dead.
Oliver Queen: I need you. The team needs you. The city needs you. I'm not saying you shouldn't do your penance--you probably should, but do it as Spartan.
John Diggle: What's in the box?
Oliver Queen: It's an anti-molecular compound, and theoretically, it should eat through anything.
John Diggle: I'm not going to ask how you got your hands on this.
John Diggle: Hey, you came back for me, even against my wishes.
Oliver Queen: I guess I haven't changed that much either... Maybe that's what I have to do my penance for .

Felicity Smoak: What's the point of having keyhole satellite imagery if you can't use it to find anybody?
Rory Regan: I feel like I don't understand half the sentences you say.
Felicity Smoak: What I"m saying is that no matter how hard I try, I cannot find Rene anywhere.
Felicity Smoak: [Rory hands Felicity a cup of coffee] I was the one who told you guys to leave him behind.
Rory Regan: Sounds like another impossible decision.
Felicity Smoak: Does that mean I'm supposed to get better at making them?
Rory Regan: I'm saying you were right. If we're going to do this, we can't let guilt swallow us up. I'll keep you from doing it if you promise the same for me.
Felicity Smoak: Deal.
Curtis Holt: Ow. Ow. Ow.
Evelyn Sharp: So "Ow" then? Things have really fallen apart without Oliver, haven't they?
Oliver Queen: It's a good thing I'm back, then.
Oliver Queen: Was he waiting for an entrance line?
Curtis Holt: Nope. He's just that cool.
Oliver Queen: I got your text. Have we found Rene?
Felicity Smoak: You get John?
Oliver Queen: Yeah, he's fine. He's holdup at HIVE. I couldn't write him off. And we are not gonna write off Rene. We're gonna find him; we're gonna bring him back... Wherever he is.

Green Arrow: I thought Church would put up more of a fight.
Rene Ramirez: Probably realized he didn't have to.
Green Arrow: What do you mean?
Rene Ramirez: I was hurtin' so bad, it... it got so I couldn't even see straight. Barely even remember telling him.
Green Arrow: Telling him what?
Rene Ramirez: Who you are. He knows you're Oliver Queen.

#207

Evelyn Sharp: For a long time, I blamed you for my parents dying. That you were responsible for leaving them to suffocate in one of Damien Darhk's testing chambers.
Oliver Queen: I know.
Evelyn Sharp: It took a lot for me to come work with you. Knowing all this, it doesn't make it any easier.
Oliver Queen: Evelyn, are you sure you should be out there tonight?
Evelyn Sharp: Yes, I am. Because I'm doing this, protecting people, for me. Not for you.

#208

Oliver Queen: Prometheus has stopped killing randoms.
Rory Regan: You'd have to be as crazy as he is to think he's stopped.

#209

Quentin Lance: This is the last thing you should be thinking about the night before your wedding. Or is that what's going on here?
Oliver Queen: What do you mean?
Quentin Lance: You getting cold feet?
Oliver Queen: No, not at all, I promise.
Quentin Lance: Good. Because I would hate to shoot you for breaking my daughter's heart, right? The paperwork would be hell.

#210

Green Arrow: Justin Claybourne, you have failed this city.
Prometheus: Not as badly as you have, Mr. Queen.

#211

Prometheus: Did you hesitate at all when you killed him, or was he just another name you crossed off your list?
Green Arrow: If you want revenge, I'm right here.
Prometheus: This is about so much more than revenge.

#212

A little over a year ago, I stood right here and I remarked that I wished it wasn't just the dark times that brought us together. With all of the loss that we have suffered, I think it's important that we embrace the miracles too, and that we remember they are still possible. Welcome home, Laurel.

#213

Felicity Smoak: I'm sorry she wasn't her.
Oliver Queen: I know. I'm sorry about Billy. He was a good man.
Felicity Smoak: Like you. So I'm guessing not-Laurel is on her way back to Central City then.
Oliver Queen: Secure lockup at A.R.G.U.S. I'm keeping her close, because if there is anything left of the real Laurel in her, I'm gonna find it.
Felicity Smoak: You know what? I could really get used to this newfound optimism of yours.

Oliver Queen: I spoke to Laurel.
Felicity Smoak: When did she become Laurel? She's not Laurel. Not "Laurel" Laurel. She's not our Laurel, okay? Not...
Oliver Queen: Okay, Felicity, I'm... I can't pretend to understand parallel worlds. But if I'm going to believe in them, and... and I kind of have to now, then I need to believe that differences are caused by circumstances. So why can't we change this Laurel's circumstances?
Felicity Smoak: You think that you can save her? After she's thrown in with Prometheus?
Oliver Queen: Under duress. I just... I think I can reach her.
Felicity Smoak: When did you find the time to get a PhD in psychology?
Oliver Queen: I'm a quick study.

Oliver Queen: How did you know where to start? All that I told you was that Chase might have something.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I hacked his laptop. Saving Dig is gonna break at least twelve federal laws. Hacking your D.A. is just small ball. Plus, you are the mayor. You can pardon me.
Oliver Queen: Actually, I can't.
Felicity Smoak: It doesn't matter, because I am having fun. I haven't done a good old "grab government secrets" kind of hack in a really long time, and it's a great change of pace and it feels awesome. And it'll keep me busy while you're gone.
Oliver Queen: I... I'm going somewhere?
Curtis Holt: Maybe Hub City.
Rory Regan: We're thinking that's where the new Black Canary is hanging out.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, let's not call her that just yet. I'd like to see her in the field, at least, first.

Oliver Queen: Well, Felicity's really going to enjoy hacking the NSA.
John Diggle: You mean after she's brought you a hundred Black Canary candidates for you to say no to? You're not the only one who visits, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: John, I understand what I promised Laurel. Now that were actively doing it, trying to replace her, it just... it feels wrong.
John Diggle: You don't want to find someone to replace her. Just someone to take on the mantle. And from where I'm sitting, those are two very different things.

Anatoly Knyazev: I have location for Walker and men to help in fight, but we have to leave now.
Curtis Holt: Thank you so much!
Anatoly Knyazev: Your strange friend's pronunciation is horrible.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. I'll tutor him later.

In light of what's happened, I thought it important that we gather as a city and remember those that we've lost. After everything that Star City has endured over the past several years, it would be easy to become immune or desensitized to the violence that pervades our lives, and it would be human to want to respond to that violence with violence. When I think of all the people that I've lost, I remember the choices that I was forced to make in light of those tragedies. Some choices were easy, but the important choices--the choices that were worth making--they were hard. And hard choices require bravery. Fortunately, we live in the Home of the Brave, and we don't run from hard choices. WE rise up, and face the hard choices together. This afternoon, Councilwoman Pollard and I met with the City Council to pass the Star City Firearms Freedom Act, a policy that respects our freedom and our lives. It shows that we can do both. And now, we just have to be brave enough to do it.

#219

Green Arrow: Thank you, captain.
Frank Pike: Happy to help. It didn't hurt that the mayor vouched for you.
Green Arrow: I'm sorry about Billy Malone. I know that it's something I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life.
Frank Pike: That's funny. That's what the mayor said.

#220

Felicity Smoak: What do you mean they were after you?
Oliver Queen: Somehow, they found out about Billy.
Felicity Smoak: What?
Quentin Lance: I'm with her, what are--what are you talking about?
John Diggle: Prometheus orchestrated things so that Oliver would kill Billy Malone.
Quentin Lance: What?
Oliver Queen: DA Chase decided that we should cover it up, but...
Quentin Lance: Somehow the ACU knows and thinks that you took out one of their own.
Oliver Queen: We're gonna have to handle this, but right now, every second we're down here, that crew is getting closer to Church's money.
Felicity Smoak: The more money they have, the more guns they can buy, the more damage they can do.
Quentin Lance: Okay, let me talk with Pike... Let me see if I can get them to stand down.
Oliver Queen: Quentin, I appreciate that, but I--I gotta handle it this time.
Quentin Lance: Why?
Oliver Queen: Because I'm the mayor.

Oliver Queen: If the Council is not gonna let me testify at the hearing, then I need to take my case directly to the public.
Adrian Chase: A press conference? Mind filling me in on who you're throwing under the bus?
Oliver Queen: The Green Arrow.

#222

Anatoly Knyazev: Viktor has confirmed Gregor's location, but tell me, why did you want him gone and why are you playing Robin Hood?
Oliver Queen: I met a woman. She taught me how to give my darkness an identity so it doesn't consume me.
Anatoly Knyazev: And you believed her? Oliver, whatever you think is inside you is inside you. You - you cannot name it like that and keep it apart from you.
Oliver Queen: This woman taught me differently.
Anatoly Knyazev: This woman does not know what she is talking about, and if you're not careful, Oliver, one day she will be the source of your greatest pain.

#223

Adrian Chase: You've told yourself you kill because you have to. Confess, Oliver. You don't kill because you have to. So why? Why do you do it?
Oliver Queen: Because I wanted to.
Adrian Chase: What?
Oliver Queen: I wanted to. I WANTED TO! AND I LIKED IT.

#224

Felicity Smoak: Oliver? Oh my God!
John Diggle: Oliver?
Oliver Queen: Chase had me... and he let me go.
John Diggle: Go slow, man.
Oliver Queen: It's over.
John Diggle: Oliver, we're gonna get this son of a bitch for whatever he did to you.
Oliver Queen: John, it's... It's over for me. I don't wanna do this anymore. I'm shutting everything down.

Anatoly Knyazev: Idea of returning to Lian Yu makes me weep like tiny baby, but Oliver Queen, he plan vacation there!
Oliver Queen: It's not a vacation, Anatoly. People are gonna wanna know where I've been these past five years.

#226

Dinah Drake: Please let me be the one to walk this into SCPD.
Curtis Holt: Knock yourself out.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, and then I'm gonna throw it up on YouTube. There won't be anywhere that son of a bitch can run.
Curtis Holt: Does this mean that we're officially back in business?
Oliver Queen: Aside from a few minor changes, yeah.
Rene Ramirez: The new lineup could use a little more green, hoss.
Oliver Queen: I'm not quite there yet. I'm thinking that with team behind me, it'll be sooner rather than later.

Dinah Drake: What do you want to do about Felicity?
Oliver Queen: There is nothing to do. She put herself in front of a bullet in order to take down Chase. 'Till that happens, I don't know what to say to her.

#228

Curtis Holt: What do we do if she shows up?
Oliver Queen: We stop her.

#229

Oliver Queen: All right, if Chase is here, he's not on this level. It... it felt like an explosion, but there's minimal damage.
Felicity Smoak: It was an EMP. A burst of electromagnetic radiation. Everything in the Bunker with an electric circuit has been fried.
Oliver Queen: How do you know?
Felicity Smoak: Because the spinal implant that helps me walk isn't working. I can't feel my legs.

Felicity Smoak: You know, under different circumstances, these chem lights might seem festive.
Oliver Queen: No sign of Chase. It looks like the EMP was his play. Elevator and security doors offline.
Felicity Smoak: Did you check the emergency exit door?
Oliver Queen: I did. It's welded shut.
Felicity Smoak: If Chase wasn't so evil, I might actually be impressed.

Oliver Queen: I'm taking you somewhere to explain why I'm what I'm doing.
Anatoly Knyazev: I spent a year on this island. You never told me there was a bar.

#232

Thea Queen: Well that's a lot of satisfied-looking faces.
Curtis Holt: And Adrian Chase is warming up a cell at A.R.G.U.S. as we speak.
Curtis Holt: Did you want to deliver that news? 'Cause I don't...
Oliver Queen: That's fine.
Felicity Smoak: Okay, so Oliver dropped this truth bomb on him, and then he was just like a marionette with his strings cut off... So epic.
Dinah Drake: Great, but there are a lot of bad guys left on the streets, okay?
Rene Ramirez: Damn girl, you know how to kill a mood?
Oliver Queen: Rene's right.
Rene Ramirez: Ohhh, say that again.
Oliver Queen: You're right--For tonight, we should enjoy the win.
John Diggle: Agreed. So, first round's on me.
Dinah Drake: Yes!
Felicity Smoak: Woo, yes!

Thea Queen: Well that's a lot of satisfied-looking faces.
Curtis Holt: And Adrian Chase is warming up a cell at A.R.G.U.S. as we speak.

Oliver Queen: You're right--For tonight, we should enjoy the win.
John Diggle: Agreed. So, first round's on me.
Dinah Drake: Yes!
Felicity Smoak: Woo, yes!

Thea Queen: We should go get a drink tonight. We haven't celebrated your birthday in... I can't remember how long.
Oliver Queen: I remember the last time we celebrated yours.
Thea Queen: Oof. God, we decided we would never talk about that again.
Oliver Queen: Four years? You've changed a lot, Speedy.
Thea Queen: We both have... I'm just not sure I have for the better.
Oliver Queen: I'm sure. Look Thea, being happy doesn't mean you don't have issues. It just means that you're working on them.
Thea Queen: When did you become all zen-like and well-adjusted? You should celebrate that tonight as well as your birthday.
Oliver Queen: I appreciate that, but I already have plans.
Thea Queen: With who? Please say not Susan Williams...
Oliver Queen: Uh, it... No, with Felicity.
Thea Queen: As in a date?
Oliver Queen: As in... I don't know if it's a date.
Thea Queen: But you're hoping that it is?
Oliver Queen: It's dinner. People go to dinner.
Thea Queen: See, I don't believe you, but I find it incredibly cute.

The name of the island they found me on is Lian Yu. It's Mandarin for purgatory.

#236

Oliver Queen: That's detailed satellite imagery of the island. Again, just in case.
Oliver Queen: What was that for?
Felicity Smoak: Just in case.
Oliver Queen: We're gonna make it through this.
Felicity Smoak: You can't know that for sure. I didn't want to regret not kissing you. When it comes to the two of us, I regret enough as it is.
Oliver Queen: Let's talk more about this when we're off the island.

Oliver Queen: What are you doing here?
Slade Wilson: I popped by to say that the intel that you gave me on my son, Joe, it panned out. So I'm heading to Calgary.
Oliver Queen: Well, that's great. I'm very, uh... I'm happy for you, and I hope that... I hope you find what you're looking for.
Slade Wilson: You don't think I will?
Oliver Queen: I think that finding your son doesn't always go as planned.
Slade Wilson: Have things been that bad with you and your son?
Oliver Queen: Yeah.
Slade Wilson: Be patient. But be prepared.
Oliver Queen: For what?
Slade Wilson: Choosing between being the man that people need you to be or the father that your son needs you to be.
Oliver Queen: What do you mean by that?
Slade Wilson: You and I walk between two worlds. But we can only do that for so long.

Felicity Smoak: You should be on the plane.
John Diggle: I'm not taking refuge from a hundred bombs without you.
Felicity Smoak: It's more like 250.

Felicity Smoak: You should be on the plane.
John Diggle: I'm not taking refuge from a hundred bombs without you.
Felicity Smoak: It's more like 250.

Gonna tell you two things. First. This is important. I am not the Green Arrow. Number two. Photos can be doctored. They could have put Bruce Wayne's head on that body. Has Bruce Wayne left Gotham to hang out in Star City recently?

#242

John Diggle: What is it, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: I'd like you to do something for me.
John Diggle: If it's suit up as Green Arrow, Felicity and I already talked about it, and we don't think it's enough to take the heat off of you.
Oliver Queen: That's not why I'm asking.
John Diggle: You're serious.
Oliver Queen: Every time that I'm out there as the Green Arrow, I'm a target of the FBI, of the Bratva, of the threats that are out there, and the threats that are undoubtedly coming. And on my own, I can take it. I'm not on my own anymore. I cannot be responsible for my son losing the only parent that he has left.
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can't be me anymore, so I'd like it to be you.

John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can't be me anymore, so I'd like it to be you.

Oliver Queen: Agent Watson, I do not believe you are on my schedule.
Samandra Watson: I think you'll come to find I really don't give a damn.

#245

John Diggle: I don't know how you did it. You never hesitated to make the call. You were always sure.
Oliver Queen: I'm not. I was never sure, not one time. I'm very flattered that it... it looked that way on the outside, but on the inside it was... it was instinct. It was instinct, and it was fear.
John Diggle: Yeah, but you worked past it.
Oliver Queen: Well, you'll work past it, too. Now, I'm not gonna sit here and say that you won't make mistakes, that you won't lose people along the way. You know, most... most will be strangers, but some... well, some won't be. Because, John, you're one of the main reasons that the Green Arrow even exists.
John Diggle: What are you talking about?
Oliver Queen: The Restons.
John Diggle: The bank robbers?
Oliver Queen: The bank robbers, yeah. You were the first person who convinced me to look past just the names on my father's list. You helped me discover that the Hood - that persona - he wasn't a hero. You... you helped me find one. All of this - the Green Arrow, the idea of it - it exists because you had faith in me. Now you got to have the same kind of faith in yourself. Because if you do, you can be a better leader. You can be a better hero than I ever was.

Felicity Smoak: Well, William did an excellent job picking out your tie.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. He was very excited. He wanted to come to dinner. I told him Raisa was his date tonight.
Felicity Smoak: Oh. Well, she's a lucky woman.
Oliver Queen: Has it, um, really been three years since the first time we did this?
Felicity Smoak: Yeah. Let's just hope that this date goes better than that one.
Oliver Queen: I think it will.
Felicity Smoak: Don't jinx it.
Oliver Queen: Masked gunmen could come through the door, and it would have been better than our first dinner.
Felicity Smoak: Well, only because we were not being blown up

Felicity Smoak: Well, I am the mayor's girlfriend now, so does that get me a break on my taxes or maybe a pass on jury duty?
Oliver Queen: I mean, I... I'm... I was gonna offer to bring you to a fundraiser.
Felicity Smoak: Eh.
Oliver Queen: I can not tell you what it is if you're gonna keep making that face.
Felicity Smoak: No. Sorry. It's just, you know...
Felicity Smoak: ...with Overwatch and the start-up with Curtis, and, you know, our old but new relationship, maybe we could... ease into some of the things.
Oliver Queen: Of course. Of course. I love rolling to those things solo.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, you're lying.

Oliver Queen: You're not gonna see him?
Slade Wilson: I need you to promise me that you won't tell him I helped.
Oliver Queen: No. I'm not gonna lie to your son.
Slade Wilson: It's better this way.
Oliver Queen: For him or for you? Wait. Are you - are you afraid that he's gonna see you as Deathstroke, not the man you were? The - the man I think you are now?
Slade Wilson: I gave up my right to be his father when I stepped out of the light into the shadows and became this monster.
Oliver Queen: Your son will forgive you the way that my son forgave me.
Slade Wilson: Joe knew that I was coming for him, so he contacted his mother, and she sent me a message to stay away. You got your second chance, kid, and I'm happy for you. Some fathers aren't that lucky.

Oliver Queen: What do you need?
Slade Wilson: I need you to help me find my son.
Oliver Queen: Last we met, you told me that I couldn't live in two worlds.
Slade Wilson: I'm not asking you to come back in. Strangely enough, what I need is diplomacy, which means I don't want Green Arrow. I need Oliver Queen.

Oliver Queen: So, where's your point of contact?
Slade Wilson: I don't know. His name's Nylander. Foreign associate of mine from back in the service days. He's a bit of a jackass and never on time.
