Quotes

Felicity Smoak: Did you know I went to M.I.T.? Guess what I majored in? Hint - Not the secretarial arts.
Oliver Queen: Felicity! We all need to have secret identities now. If I'm going to be Oliver Queen CEO, then I can't very well travel down 18 floors every time you and I need to discuss how we spend our nights.
Felicity Smoak: And I love spending the night with you. 3, 2, 1. I worked very hard to get where I am, and it wasn't so I can fetch you coffee.
John Diggle: Well, it could be worse. My secret identity is his black driver.

John Diggle: Oliver? What is it, man?
John Diggle: Is it Susan?
Oliver Queen: Not yet, but it's just a matter of time... And I don't know what I can do to stop it.
John Diggle: Oliver, there are always options, and you're not alone.
Oliver Queen: You trunk that's the problem? You've done a wonderful job of convincing me that I"m changing for the better, with recruits and transparency, more optimism, more... More trust.
John Diggle: You think none of this would've happened if you hadn't trusted Chase, right?
Oliver Queen: Trusted anyone, because I can't see anything past me just breaking more targets.
John Diggle: Oliver...
John Diggle: We're not targets, man. We're your teammates... We're your strength.
Oliver Queen: You give me strength until Chase turns it into a weakness. Look what happened with Susan. I let myself get close to Susan, and in so doing, I gave Chase a way to get to me. That could happen with you, with... With Felicity. With my son. All of you make me vulnerable, John.
John Diggle: Maybe. Maybe we do, but caring about people, Oliver--that makes you human.
Oliver Queen: Being human is a luxury I might not get to have.

Green Arrow: It's nice of you to show up.
John Diggle: My brother needed me. The green one.

Oliver Queen: I'm not gonna pretend to understand what you're going through.
John Diggle: Well, Oliver, you've been through this with your mother, which is why I can't quite understand why you're putting the fate of the world in the hands of another evil parent.
Oliver Queen: I'm not trusting Kuttler. I trust Felicity. And we should just let her do her job, okay?

John Diggle: Hey, you. How you holding up? You've, um, looked better.
Lyla Michaels: Oh! Considering I've spent two weeks in a bombproof, tungsten encased bunker, I think I look pretty good. You hungry?
John Diggle: Mm. How long have those been there?
Lyla Michaels: That was lunch. Might have even been today's.
John Diggle: Yeah, I think I'll pass.

John Diggle: You got something?
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, an apology. I never should've let you think that you could have prevented what happened to Laurel, not even for a second. I was just dealing with my own guilt for not being there.
John Diggle: You have nothing to be sorry about, Felicity. If I had listened to Oliver and not trusted my brother, Laurel would be alive.
Felicity Smoak: No, you don't know that.
John Diggle: Oliver keeps saying the same thing, except I keep going through this over and over again in my head and it-- It's true. Only thing I don't quite get is how I could have been so blind.
Felicity Smoak: Well, Andy's your brother, you know? We make exceptions for family.
John Diggle: Yeah, and I'm the one constantly telling Oliver not to have a blind spot for family.
Felicity Smoak: And here you are, taking the blame for something that's not your fault. You're just one illegitimate child away from a really awesome Oliver Queen impersonation. But just like we tell Oliver, what happened was not your fault, and Laurel would have wanted you to know that.

Oliver Queen: John, you are the one who always tells me do not have a blind spot when it comes to your family.
John Diggle: And you're the one who told me to give Andy a second chance. You're the one who wanted to extract him from HIVE. You're the one who said he could come back from the darkness the same way you did.
Oliver Queen: But I didn't. I've tried. I've tried harder at this than I ever have at anything, but at the end of the day, I am who those 5 years turned me into, I'm what they turned me into.
John Diggle: So what, Oliver, just because Felicity left you, I'm supposed to believe that all men are incapable of redemption? Not all men are like you, Oliver. Some of us change, some of us grow, some of us evolve. You are stuck, man, stuck in your self-pity and your self-righteousness, and that is why Felicity left you. My brother is my business. You have no idea what he's been through, and you sure as hell had no right right to judge him.

Looks like we have ourselves a taller, more dude-like version of Felicity.

Felicity Smoak: He showed up at my Palmer Tech presentation. I had coffee with him yesterday, where he dropped the Calculator bomb on me.
John Diggle: And why would he do that?
Felicity Smoak: Apparently, now that he knows what I do, that we're both "vigilantes", we have something in common. The sickest part is I want to believe him. I wish there were some sort of test I could do that would prove that is who he says he is.

Oliver Queen: I should have done a better job of keeping an eye on her. She told me the bloodlust came back two months ago and I didn't even know
Oliver Queen: . I've been focused on the campaign and I've been running back and forth to Central City and...
Felicity Smoak: How is it that you always manage to blame yourself for everything?
John Diggle: That's his super power. Guilt Arrow.

Oliver Queen: I don't have time for a lecture, John.
John Diggle: There's no lecture here, Oliver, but you should know that Andy gave me a lead on Darhk and I've been working on it.
Oliver Queen: Good. What have you found?
John Diggle: Unfortunately, it was a dead end, but you should know...
John Diggle: But nothing. But nothing.
John Diggle: Oliver, I know you're hurting, man, but you should know that whatever your play is... I got you back.
Oliver Queen: But?
John Diggle: But you've come so far, Oliver. You've recovered a humanity that you lost when I first met you. I know you want payback for what Darhk did to Felicity, and you should. But don't lose what made her fall in love with you in the first place.

Oliver Queen: You okay?
John Diggle: Not really. I told Lyla the truth about Andy.
Oliver Queen: What'd she say?
John Diggle: She's a soldier... She understood, but I don't, and I don't think I ever will.
Oliver Queen: What are you gonna do?
John Diggle: I'm gonna take some time, away from this team, away from the city. Figure out where I went off track, figure out how to get back on.
Oliver Queen: John, I have never done this without you. You're the one who keeps me in line.
John Diggle: Oliver, I don't know if you've been watching lately, but it's been the other way around, man.

John Diggle: You crossed the line, man.
Oliver Queen: I get it. I understand that I crossed a line. I understand that I lost your trust. What I do not understand is why you won't give me a chance to earn it back.

John Diggle: You took a bullet for me.
Oliver Queen: They were meta-human tattoo playing cards.
John Diggle: Still counts, Oliver. Still counts.

Laurel Lance: You've been investigating this for two years and you haven't told anyone?
John Diggle: It's a family thing Laurel. I would think you. of all people, would understand keeping secrets when it comes to the death of a sibling.
Laurel Lance: I do. And because I do, I can tell you carrying a burden like that never ends in any way but bad.

John Diggle: I hate when they run!
Felicity Smoak: Well, at least you're getting your cardio workout in. I still have 40 minutes on an elliptical in my immediate future.

Felicity Smoak: You don't really believe Merlyn?
John Diggle: Well, looking at this, we can't afford not to believe Merlyn.
Felicity Smoak: He is a mass murderer who has lied to us so many times it should be a drinking game.

John Diggle: You seeing anybody, Cutter?
Carrie Cutter: Of course I am. The Arrow. And our special day is going to be the most glorious day. And then, afterwards, we'll make strong beautiful babies.
Floyd Lawton: And does he know this? Listen, I got news for you, stalker - you don't get to do what we do and have a family.
John Diggle: Yeah, well, I have a wife right here and a child who say otherwise. Let's hold up here.
Floyd Lawton: Yeah, well, let's hope you make it home to her. But love, children, family - it's all just a distraction to people like us.
Lyla Michaels: They make us better, and give us something worth fighting for.
Floyd Lawton: Love is a bullet in the brain, and if you believe any different, you're as crazy as she is.

John Diggle: You want to tell me what's going on now?
Oliver Queen: Ra's predicted this. He said the city would turn against me and I would die alone. And when we come back, and the first thing that happens is Lance shutting me out, and... I see Felicity with Palmer. It's like he looked into my future.
John Diggle: Sounds to me Ra's is playing with your head. Question is, why are you letting him?
Oliver Queen: He wants me to take his place in the League of Assassins. That's why he let us go. As a sign of good faith.
John Diggle: Is there even a world where he can imagine you saying yes?
Oliver Queen: He said I can do more as the new Ra's than I can ever do as Oliver Queen or the Arrow. That I would have unlimited resources. That I could make a difference, not just a dent.
John Diggle: You're not really considering this. Just because Captain Lance is angry and Felicity is momentarily unavailable.
Oliver Queen: It's more than that. I just... John, tell my honestly... What have we accomplished?
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: All the people that we put away, John, they got out. The city is no better off. The Arrow is not... is not making a difference. And if I just can't be me... and the Arrow isn't enough...
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul.

John Diggle: Sometimes, me and Oliver come down here after, you know, tough nights. He would pour this, look up and say "Prochnost."
Roy Harper: What does that mean?
John Diggle: I have no earthly idea. To Oliver.
Roy Harper: To Oliver.

John Diggle: Sometimes, me and Oliver come down here after, you know, tough nights. He would pour this, look up and say "Prochnost."
Roy Harper: What does that mean?
John Diggle: I have no earthly idea. To Oliver.
Roy Harper: To Oliver.

Felicity Smoak: Oliver? Oh my God!
John Diggle: Oliver?
Oliver Queen: Chase had me... and he let me go.
John Diggle: Go slow, man.
Oliver Queen: It's over.
John Diggle: Oliver, we're gonna get this son of a bitch for whatever he did to you.
Oliver Queen: John, it's... It's over for me. I don't wanna do this anymore. I'm shutting everything down.

John Diggle: You think it's something you can trace?
Felicity Smoak: I like your optimism.
John Diggle: It's not optimism, Felicity. It's faith.

Rene Ramirez: What'd I miss?
Curtis Holt: Evil Laurel seduced a guy, then killed him.
Rene Ramirez: Why?
John Diggle: That's what we have to figure out. But first we have to find her. Laurel's been in the wind way too long.

John Diggle: I don't know how you did it. You never hesitated to make the call. You were always sure.
Oliver Queen: I'm not. I was never sure, not one time. I'm very flattered that it... it looked that way on the outside, but on the inside it was... it was instinct. It was instinct, and it was fear.
John Diggle: Yeah, but you worked past it.
Oliver Queen: Well, you'll work past it, too. Now, I'm not gonna sit here and say that you won't make mistakes, that you won't lose people along the way. You know, most... most will be strangers, but some... well, some won't be. Because, John, you're one of the main reasons that the Green Arrow even exists.
John Diggle: What are you talking about?
Oliver Queen: The Restons.
John Diggle: The bank robbers?
Oliver Queen: The bank robbers, yeah. You were the first person who convinced me to look past just the names on my father's list. You helped me discover that the Hood - that persona - he wasn't a hero. You... you helped me find one. All of this - the Green Arrow, the idea of it - it exists because you had faith in me. Now you got to have the same kind of faith in yourself. Because if you do, you can be a better leader. You can be a better hero than I ever was.

John Diggle: What is it, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: I'd like you to do something for me.
John Diggle: If it's suit up as Green Arrow, Felicity and I already talked about it, and we don't think it's enough to take the heat off of you.
Oliver Queen: That's not why I'm asking.
John Diggle: You're serious.
Oliver Queen: Every time that I'm out there as the Green Arrow, I'm a target of the FBI, of the Bratva, of the threats that are out there, and the threats that are undoubtedly coming. And on my own, I can take it. I'm not on my own anymore. I cannot be responsible for my son losing the only parent that he has left.
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can't be me anymore, so I'd like it to be you.

John Diggle: What is it, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: I'd like you to do something for me.
John Diggle: If it's suit up as Green Arrow, Felicity and I already talked about it, and we don't think it's enough to take the heat off of you.

John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can't be me anymore, so I'd like it to be you.

Felicity Smoak: You should be on the plane.
John Diggle: I'm not taking refuge from a hundred bombs without you.
Felicity Smoak: It's more like 250.

Felicity Smoak: You should be on the plane.
John Diggle: I'm not taking refuge from a hundred bombs without you.
Felicity Smoak: It's more like 250.

Felicity Smoak: An angry woman with two swords? Are you getting Isabel Roshev vibes?
John Diggle: Yep.
Felicity Smoak: You remember how we handled that, right?
John Diggle: Yep.

Curtis Holt: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!
John Diggle: I'm gonna need you to stop making that noise.
Curtis Holt: I'm sorry my agonizing pain is bothering you.

Felicity Smoak: This is so completely unfair.
John Diggle: Yeah, seems to be a lot of that going around lately. So, you got Oliver's girlfriend fired?
Felicity Smoak: He told you? Of course he told you. Well, did he also tell you it was a mistake? I mean, on my part at least.
John Diggle: Felicity...
Felicity Smoak: I'm putting the toothpaste back in the tube, okay?
John Diggle: And how is that going?
Felicity Smoak: Well...
John Diggle: Felicity, what's going on with you?
Felicity Smoak: What do you mean?
John Diggle: This week it was Oliver's girlfriend. Last month, he tells me you're getting involved in some stuff you shouldn't be involved in?
Felicity Smoak: Well, that is a matter of perspective considering that that "stuff" helped get *you* out of prison, and General Walker's gunsights.
John Diggle: What're you talking about?
John Diggle: [Felicity opens up Pandora files] Pandora?
Felicity Smoak: It's a data cache compiled by a group of hacktivists called Helix. They collect electronic dirt on literally billions of people, including General Walker, so when I asked for it to get you off, they... That's a bad choice of words... They gave me the whole package.
John Diggle: And you're still in bed with these people?
Felicity Smoak: What? You make it sound like it's a bad thing. Pandora's just a tool.
John Diggle: Sounds to me like this could be a weapon.
Felicity Smoak: Okay, and is there a problem if it is?
John Diggle: It depends, Felicity.
Felicity Smoak: On what?
John Diggle: On how you use it.

John Diggle: Just checking on you... You uh, going somewhere?
Dinah Drake: Studio apartment with a garden.
John Diggle: You applied for the lease?
Dinah Drake: I got the lease.
John Diggle: Yes! Small steps, huh?
Dinah Drake: Well, the apartment is not the only thing I applied for... You are looking t the latest recruit into the SCPD.
John Diggle: Congratulations, Detective Drake.
Dinah Drake: Thank you.
John Diggle: Well you did it... I just gave you a little push.
Dinah Drake: Well uh, I needed the push, so... Thank you.
John Diggle: Congrats.

John Diggle: Thanks.

Oliver Queen: Well, Felicity's really going to enjoy hacking the NSA.
John Diggle: You mean after she's brought you a hundred Black Canary candidates for you to say no to? You're not the only one who visits, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: John, I understand what I promised Laurel. Now that were actively doing it, trying to replace her, it just... it feels wrong.
John Diggle: You don't want to find someone to replace her. Just someone to take on the mantle. And from where I'm sitting, those are two very different things.

Rene Ramirez: Cute kid.
John Diggle: Yeah, he gets it from his mom.
Rene Ramirez: I figured.

#37

John Diggle: Security cameras.
Felicity Smoak: I'm on it.
Rory Regan: Maybe I wasn't paying attention during the briefing, but isn't the point to get caught?
John Diggle: Yeah, not by the cops.
Felicity Smoak: That's why I'm only cutting lines to SCPD.
John Diggle: You two take the safe upstairs, I'll cover from the.
Rory Regan: Okay, isn't that taking the Method acting a little far?
John Diggle: We have to make this look legit.
Rory Regan: Oh, I can't wait to explain that at my arraignment.

Rene Ramirez: You're all geared up.
John Diggle: Oliver didn't bust me out of prison to warm the bench, right? So what's up? You ready to move out?
Rene Ramirez: Decided not to go. Last thing any of you need right now is me screwing things up again.
John Diggle: When it comes to guilt and recrimination, the line forms behind me. I didn't think I was ready to face what I had done, but I'm wearing this suit again because I think it's a path to redemption... And it could be for you too.

Oliver Queen: Hey John, what's new?
John Diggle: I'm not doing this... I told Lyla.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, you can yell at us later, but right now, we're on a bit of a clock.
John Diggle: Are you even hearing me right now? I don't want anything to do with this.
Oliver Queen: The MPs going to do a count in a few minutes. My guess is they're only expecting to find one person in here.
John Diggle: Really? So that's your plan--blackmail? Do what you say or you get caught in here too?
Oliver Queen: You're my brother, John. What happens to you happens to me.
John Diggle: Oliver... I killed my brother. I went to the Army to change, and I haven't changed.
Oliver Queen: I know, alright. And I know that you think this is your penance for that...
John Diggle: Oliver, its' not just that. I trusted Andy, even when you told me not to. I trusted him, and now Laurel's dead.
Oliver Queen: I need you. The team needs you. The city needs you. I'm not saying you shouldn't do your penance--you probably should, but do it as Spartan.
John Diggle: What's in the box?
Oliver Queen: It's an anti-molecular compound, and theoretically, it should eat through anything.
John Diggle: I'm not going to ask how you got your hands on this.
John Diggle: Hey, you came back for me, even against my wishes.
Oliver Queen: I guess I haven't changed that much either... Maybe that's what I have to do my penance for .

Caitlin Snow: Hey! Secret identity?
Barry Allen: They're married!
John Diggle , Lyla Michaels: We're not married.
Barry Allen: Or together. Whatever, he told her about me.
Barry Allen: You didn't...?
John Diggle: I keep secrets for a living, man.
Barry Allen: Ah. My bad.
Lyla Michaels: You... you're...
Barry Allen: The Flash. Sushi?

John Diggle: Whoa! That's a neat trick. You going to teach me that one day?
Oliver Queen: [knocks thug back out] No.
John Diggle: What are you doing?
Oliver Queen: You need to arrange a new identity for this guy. Get him out of the city.
John Diggle: Right, so your Ruskie pal draws out The Count, vigilante takes him down.
Oliver Queen: No, Diggle. Because the Bratva would know that I used them, and that relationship is too valuable. I do the meet with The Count as myself, let him leave, then we follow him to his hideout.
John Diggle: Just that easy, huh?
Oliver Queen: Well, I will still need my trusty bodyguard.
John Diggle: Fantastic. Looking forward to my new exciting career as a drug dealer.

Felicity Smoak: Where are we going to get our hands on a rare Spanish antiquity?
John Diggle: You really have no idea how rich his family is, do you?

#43

John Diggle: I was thinking all of this would be more of a shock. You saying you called this all along?
Felicity Smoak: I'm not saying anything. Except Oliver brought me a laptop with bullet holes had me trace a black arrow and research a company involved in armored car heists. I may be blond, but I'm not that blond.

#44

John Diggle: Thanks for your help. You kept your head on.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I always wondered how I'd react if I found my boss shot and bleeding inside my car. Not that I helped because he's my boss. I'd help anyone who was shot and bleeding in my car.

#45

Felicity Smoak: I should've taken him to a hospital.
John Diggle: No. That's why he asked you to bring him here. He knew the police would wanna know how and why he got that wound.
Felicity Smoak: I'm guessing "how" and "why" are Oliver Queen's least favorite questions.
John Diggle: Yeah, well, there's also "when" and "where," he's not too fond of.

#46

John Diggle: What's the undertaking?
Oliver Queen: I don't know. But with all this talk about threats, it can't be good.

Oliver Queen: I've listened to this fifteen times. It's definitely her voice, Diggle. I just... I can't believe it's her.
John Diggle: We all have blind spots when it comes to family.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. Laurel's almost got her killed tonight. Vanch never would've known about her connection to me if Lance hadn't lied to her.
John Diggle: Guess the lesson here is blind trust can be dangerous.

John Diggle: I can't believe you just killed that guy.
Oliver Queen: You really have a low opinion of me.

John Diggle: You're not going back out there?
Oliver Queen: I'm not done for the night. Whoever this Count is, he has a lot of blood on his hands, and it is long past time he started paying.
John Diggle: All right, slow down. I think you're missing the point here.
Oliver Queen: What?
Oliver Queen: Thea.
John Diggle: Her hearing's in a few hours. You think she cares more about some drug lord getting his just desserts or you being by her side when she needs you the most?

John Diggle: Find what you're looking for?
Oliver Queen: Took down three Vertigo pushers tonight, Diggle. Last one finally knew a name. The Count.
John Diggle: The Count? That's worse than The Hood.

Felicity Smoak: You don't happen to speak spanish, do you?
John Diggle: Arabic.
Felicity Smoak: Oh, le sigh.

#52

John Diggle: Please tell me you're not going where I think you're going.
Oliver Queen: Diggle, why do you even ask?

#53

John Diggle: You really did lose your mind on that island.
Oliver Queen: Found a couple of things along the way.
John Diggle: Like what Archery classes?
Oliver Queen: Clarity.

Oliver Queen : You don't think much of me, do you?
John Diggle : Actually, sir, I have a very high regard for how... perceptive you are.

John Diggle : So how was your evening, sir?
Oliver Queen : You mean after I said I had to go the bathroom at dinner and never came back?
John Diggle : I guess from now on I'll be watching you pee.

Oliver Queen : Sorry to give you so much grief.
John Diggle : I served three tours in Afghanistan, Mr. Queen. You don't even come close to my definition of grief.

John Diggle : Will you be going out tonight, sir?
Oliver Queen : Definitely.

Oliver Queen : I got lucky.
John Diggle : I'm not the man you wanna take for a fool, Mr. Queen. You understand me?
Oliver Queen : Yes.
John Diggle : I think I'm just beginning to understand what kind of man you are.
Oliver Queen : Shouldn't take you very long. I'm shallow.

Oliver Queen : I'd say thanks, but I really don't think that would cover it.
John Diggle : Well, like I told your cop friend, I was just doing my job. Besides, I think I'm the one who should be thanking you.
Oliver Queen : For what?
John Diggle : The knife.
Oliver Queen : The knife. I got lucky.
John Diggle : That was a kitchen knife. It wasn't even weighted properly, yet you threw it for accuracy across a ten-foot room.
Oliver Queen : Exactly. I got lucky.

Moira Queen: I hired you to protect my son. Now I am not a professional bodyguard, but it seems to me that the first requirement of the job is staying close to the person you are protecting.
John Diggle: I have never had a client who did not want my protection before mam. image

John Diggle: If you get bored, I keep a book of crossword puzzles in the glove box.
Oliver Queen: That's not funny.

Oliver Queen: I just wanted a second to myself.
John Diggle: I would believe you, Mr. Queen, if you weren't so full of crap.

Oliver Queen: The tracer arrow program...
John Diggle: You have Felicity monitoring remote from Central City?
Oliver Queen: No, she told me an idiot can run it.
John Diggle: I will try very heard not to take that personally.

John Diggle: Listen, I understand why you can't kill Merlyn, all of the reasons. Maybe he killed Sara, maybe he didn't.
Oliver Queen: He didn't.
John Diggle: Either way! The world is a better place without Malcolm Merlyn it. You made a vow not to kill. Nyssa didn't.

I'm going to roll out, too. Lyla has me trying to build the bassinet from hell.

#66

Floyd Lawton: What the hell is this? Early parole?
John Diggle: Waller's looking forward to bomb Starling City. We need your help to stop her.
Floyd Lawton: As much I'd love to show the Wall what we think of her, it's just that little matter of tick, tick, boom! Okay? We've got all that miniature bombs in our spines.
Lyla Michaels: You have to trust me.
John Diggle: And, Lawton, no dropping bodies.
Floyd Lawton: Yeah, sure, take the fun out of it.

#67

John Diggle: Family's hard. Sometimes they're the hardest in the world. Loving someone so much and letting them love you back.
Thea Queen: You know, you're right... you should go back to lurking.
John Diggle: I've spent a lot of time with your family.
Thea Queen: If you think that gives you the right to weigh in, you're wrong. Plus, Oliver will be out of money soon and you'll be unemployed.

Save a man's life once, get a silver star. Save it twice, bring a tux.

#69

So this is your unit, huh, Waller? What, O.J. and Charles Manson weren't available?

#70

John Diggle: "Solomon Grundy, born on a Monday..."
Oliver Queen: Christened on Tuesday. I know the poem. It symbolizes the seven stages of life - from birth to death.
John Diggle: What stage is this guy in?

Felicity Smoak: You have that look that you always get right before you tell Oliver something... Sagely.
John Diggle: Yes and this is about Oliver.
Felicity Smoak: You think I'm in denial.
John Diggle: I think 4 days ago Oliver challenged the worlds greatest assassin to a duel.
Felicity Smoak: He survived Lian Yu and Hong Kong... And god knows what else, he defeated Malcolm Merlyn, and Slade Wilson. You have to believe in him.
John Diggle: Well I do believe in him Felicity. It's just that I'm preparing myself for the possibility that things didn't go Oliver way. Not this time. You need to prepare yourself too.
Felicity Smoak: Please Oliver where are you?

Deadshot: If I say she's in there, what's keeping you from shooting me?
John Diggle: Honor. You should try it sometime.

John Diggle: Who are you people? NSA? CIA?
Amanda Waller: My name is Amanda Waller.
John Diggle: I thought you A.R.G.U.S. guys were supposed to be more subtle.
Amanda Waller: For us, this was subtle.
John Diggle: Then I want to see Lyla Michaels.
Amanda Waller: So do I. Agent Michaels has gone dark.
John Diggle: Lyla's missing? What happened?
Amanda Waller: She was running down a lead in Moscow. She's missed two of her scheduled call-ins.
John Diggle: What are you doing about it?
Amanda Waller: Speaking to you. Even if we knew where in Russia Lyla is, my superiors believe sending in an extraction team could cause an international incident. As far as they're concerned, she's already framed a picture on our lobby wall.
John Diggle: Why are you telling all me of this?
Amanda Waller: Because I know how you and Oliver Queen spend your nights.

John Diggle: You know, Oliver, somebody once told me that secrets have weight. The more you keep, the harder it is to keep moving.
Arrow: You see how hard I work out.

John Diggle: I thought Merlyn broke your bow.
Oliver Queen: I have another.

John Diggle: I guess you *do* know where I live.
Oliver Queen: I've always known where you live. May I?
Oliver Queen: I'm sorry. You were right. I was wrong.
John Diggle: About Deadshot?
Oliver Queen: About everything. About my mother, and about her involvement in the Undertaking. She lied to me, to Thea. She's working with Malcolm Merlyn, and they're planning something, something... terrible. I don't know what yet, but... I just know one thing. I need your help to stop them.

John Diggle: I'll kill you for what you did to Andy.
Deadshot: I'd be pulling these triggers right now, except there's no way except there's nobody paying me. There's space for you right here, right next to your brother. You'd do best to remember that.

Helena Bertinelli: Sorry, am I... interrupting something?
Oliver Queen: We were just... talking about you.
Helena Bertinelli: And here I thought you didn't care much about me.
John Diggle: Still don't.

John Diggle: Oliver, if you still didn't have feelings for this girl, you would have followed a different solution than letting her extort you into killing someone.
Oliver Queen: So what do you want me to do? You want me to kill her?
John Diggle: I think you would have along time ago if she looked like me instead of the T-Mobile girl. She's a stone cold killer, Oliver.
